TL Worldwide Transportation is seeking reliable and compassionate Part-Time and Weekend Transit Van Drivers to join our team in Akron, OH. As a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Van Driver, you will play a vital role in helping community members access essential medical appointments and services. Responsibilities

Safely operate a transit van during assigned shifts to transport passengers to and from medical appointments and essential destinations
Assist passengers from their door to the vehicle and help them board and exit safely
Operate and assist with a wheelchair lift as needed, ensuring proper securing of passengers and mobility devices
Follow GPS directions and maps to ensure timely and accurate transportation
Provide courteous, dependable, and on-time service to all passengers
Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude while supporting passengers’ needs

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old
Valid driver’s license
Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
Ability to follow GPS directions and read maps
Patient, dependable, and comfortable assisting others
Wheelchair lift experience is helpful but not required; paid training is provided
