We are seeking a Locums Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide coverage in Pendleton, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA seeking a consistent weekday schedule and manageable patient volume in a supportive clinical environment.
Position Highlights
Schedule:Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Week: 32 hours per week
Four 8-hour shifts with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
Approximately 8 patients per day
Consistent weekday schedule
No weekend coverage indicated
Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, strengthening, balance, and functional activities.
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Educate patients on exercises, mobility techniques, and home programs.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current Oregon PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
Current CPR/BLS certification as required.
